L'initiation au tournage est un 1er contact avec la terre et le tour de potier.
duré de l'atelier : 4h00
Après le pétrissage de la terre pour la rendre homogène, vous apprendrez les différents gestes, étape par étape pour réaliser un bol, à savoir : monter une quille, centrer la balle de terre sur le tour, percer, monter la terre, galber le bol et enfin le sortir du tour.
Après un temps de séchage, le bol sera cuit et émaillé.
La terre et les outils sont fournis par l'atelier. Merci d'amener votre tablier !
Vous pourrez le récupérer au bout de 3 semaines. Les envois ne sont pas possibles !
(L'atelier peut être annulé si le minimum de candidats requis (4) n'est pas atteint. l'atelier sera alors intégralement remboursé ou reporté.

4-Hour Wheel-Throwing Introduction

Time: 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM
This introductory workshop is a first hands-on experience with clay and the potter’s wheel.
Duration: 4 hours
After wedging the clay to make it homogeneous, you will learn the essential gestures step by step to create a bowl, including:
• Pulling up a cone
• Centering the clay on the wheel
• Opening
• Pulling up the walls
• Shaping the bowl
• Removing it from the wheel
After a drying period, the bowl will be fired and glazed.
All clay and tools are provided by the studio. Please bring your own apron!
Your piece will be ready for pickup within three weeks. Shipping is not available.

• The workshop may be canceled if the minimum number of participants (4) is not met. In that case, it will be fully refunded or rescheduled.
